When EKU decided to offer free textbooks to all undergraduate students, a first for any university in the region, I was charged with concepting themes and looks for the campaign. These two executions were finalists, with the BOOK SMART headline winning out.

With a long down period between racing meets, the goal with this ad was to remind the casual racing fan of the excitement in store with the start of the fall meet by using vivid, illustrative, carnivalesque graphics.

Playing off the name of the contraceptive drug, my headline is reinforced with a jarring image that imagines a very faulty Plan A. If the image didn't draw attention, the bold palette of primary colors did.

His or her car/cars comprise the auto enthusiast's biggest pride & joy, so I decided the only headline needed was PRIDE & JOY rendered as vanity plates.
